ARTH 321 Hindu Myth and Image (3)This course selectively examines monuments of the Hindu religious tradition in South and Southeast Asia , beginning with the earliest works of Kushana-era India. Works examined include examples of sculpture, architecture, and painting, with a particular emphasis on the relationship between form, symbol, and interpretation. Prerequisite(s): Permission of the instructor or six (6) hours of art history or ARTH 299 . Course Frequency: Occasional
