Notes: Students seeking a major in French and Francophone Studies must take 12 credit hours at the 300-level or higher at the College of Charleston or its approved programs overseas. Majors in French and Francophone Studies are required to take a proficiency exam during their last year prior to graduation. Information about the nature of the exam and the schedule for each semester is available in the department and on its website.
