CLAS 356 Ancient Roman Letters (3)Students explore themes and topics of Roman daily life through analysis of letters written by Cicero, Horace, Pliny and others; texts also include Christian authors and papyrus/tablet remains from Egypt and Britain. The study of letters will include theoretical approaches and their relationship to modern electronic communication and social media.
