GEOL 206 Planetary Geology (3)This course is designed to explore surface landscapes of planets and moons within our solar system. Topics for discussion will include the general physiography of the planetary bodies and the processes that modify their surface morphologies (e.g., tectonism, volcanism, impact cratering, eolian, hydrologic, glacial and other resurfacing processes). Lectures three hours per week. Prerequisite(s): GEOL 103 or HONS 155 or permission of the instructor. Course Frequency: Fall
