RELS 305 Topics in Indigenous Religions (3)A comparative examination of topics and themes central to the study of indigenous religions. Topics covered may include the following: cosmology, shamanism, ritual, sacred art, oral traditions, myth, rites of passage and social and religious organization. Prerequisite(s): Either three semester hours in religious studies or permission of the instructor. Course Frequency: Occasional Repeatable: May be repeated for credit when course content varies.
