SPAN 333 Topics in Hispanic Cultures (3)Introduction to Hispanic world cultures through the study of the arts, geography, history, film, linguistics, literature, music, philosophy, politics, popular culture, religion, and/or society. Such topics will be approached through the critical analysis of primary sources including articles, artistic manifestations, essays, films, literary works, newspapers, and/or visual media. Course may be repeated for credit if topic is different. Prerequisite(s): SPAN 350 or two of the following: SPAN 313 , SPAN 316 , SPAN 317 , SPAN 312 or SPAN 314 or SPAN 328 . Permission of the department chair. Course Frequency: Fall and Spring Repeatable: For up to 15 credit hours.
