ARTS 430 Independent Study in Studio Art (3)

The ARTS 430-Independent Study course is designed for students who wish to continue their practice and research beyond the uppermost level of an area of study. In consultation with a full-time faculty member who will serve as the project advisor, the student will write a proposal for, develop and complete an independent project.
Prerequisite(s): Student art majors with junior or senior standing who have taken either ARTS 331, ARTS 332, ARTS 333, ARTS 334, ARTS 335, or ARTS 339. An application for independent study must be submitted to the project advisor prior to the beginning of the term and must be approved by the department chair.
Course Frequency: Occasional
Repeatable: Junior or senior Studio Art majors may enroll in multiple Independent Study courses as long as each is based on a new project containing unique content.
