ARTS 430 Independent Study in Studio Art (3)The ARTS 430-Independent Study course is designed for students who wish to continue their practice and research beyond the uppermost level of an area of study. In consultation with a full-time faculty member who will serve as the project advisor, the student will write a proposal for, develop and complete an independent project. Prerequisite(s): Student art majors with junior or senior standing who have taken either ARTS 331 , ARTS 332 , ARTS 333 , ARTS 334 , ARTS 335 , or ARTS 339 . An application for independent study must be submitted to the project advisor prior to the beginning of the term and must be approved by the department chair. Course Frequency: Occasional Repeatable: Junior or senior Studio Art majors may enroll in multiple Independent Study courses as long as each is based on a new project containing unique content.
