HIST 251 The Modern City (3)An exploration of the history of the modern city in different historical contexts. The course discovers how cities came to define the modern lifestyle as hubs of business and communications, trendsetters in culture, style, and leisure, symbols of new architecture, and outdoor museums of history and memory.
