LGST 390 Law Office Administration (3)The legal field is vast in specialty areas, has no consistency from one firm to the next in methods of practice and culture, and is extremely dynamic. This course provides an overview of the modern law office. Students will be introduced to various administrative and managerial tools and methods employed by the modern law office to maximize efficiency, reduce work-related stress and attract and retain clients. Students will also be exposed to various methods for streamlining individual workload, and methods for capturing and retaining knowledge in order to maximize personal productivity. Prerequisite(s): Permission of Dean of Professional Studies Course Frequency: Spring
