PSYC 435 Advanced Topics in Positive Psychology (3)This course will cover topics in positive psychology in greater depth and breadth than what is addressed in the lower-level course. Emphasis will be placed on the topic of mindfulness, along with cognitive and socio-emotional factors that contribute to health and well-being. Examples of such topics include: sense of coherence, non-attachment, compassion, and self-forgiveness. Prerequisite(s): PSYC 103 (or equivalent), PSYC 211 and PSYC 220 (or PSYC 250 in lieu of PSYC 211 and PSYC 220 ), and PSYC 335 or permission of instructor
