COMM 310 Message Design and Influence (3)Crafting messages for particular contexts and publics. Students develop advanced writing skills and demonstrate proficiency in information gathering, message design and visual communication. Topics vary depending on the course section and instructor. Students can take this course up to three times and earn credit, as long as the course content varies, and with permission of the department chair. Prerequisite(s): COMM 104 or COMM 280 ; COMM 214 or COMM 215 or COMM 216 ; or department chair permission. A grade of C- or better must be earned for all prerequisite courses. Prerequisite(s) or Corequisite(s): COMM 281 . A grade of C- or better must be earned for all prerequisite courses. Course Frequency: Fall and Spring Repeatable: May be repeated for credit when course content varies.
