EDFS 525 Literacy Development and Intervention for Students with Disabilities (3) This course is an in-depth study of research-based methodologies for reading and written expression assessment and instruction for K-12 students with emotional, learning or mental disabilities. The course will focus on developmental, corrective and strategic approaches and requires students to demonstrate competence in planning individualized reading and written language programs.
