ARTM 330 Music in the Marketplace (3)

This course introduces students to the process of releasing music from manufacturing and distribution to publishing, promotion, and licensing. Emphasis will be on the legal and financial challenges of the new music marketplace, the changing role of record labels, and social media marketing.
Prerequisite(s): ARTM 210  or permission of instructor
