ARTM 405 Music Industry Capstone (3)

Field experience is required in the music industry. In this capstone course, students will work with a community partner on a music industry project to develop industry-specific skills that will enhance their understanding of the field and their future employability. The community partners and projects will change each semester and may include producing a live event, assisting with a music festival, or planning a new release project. Students will complete and present research to examine ongoing trends in the music industry. The capstone builds upon foundational music industry coursework and gives students the opportunity to apply this knowledge in practice.
Prerequisite(s): Junior standing, ARTM 330 
Course Frequency: Fall and Spring
Repeatable: May be repeated for credit when course content varies.
