MATH 120 Introductory Calculus (4)

This introductory calculus course for students in mathematics and the natural sciences includes the calculus of algebraic, trigonometric, exponential and logarithmic functions. Topics will include limits and continuity, derivatives, the Mean Value Theorem, applications of derivatives, the Riemann integral and the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. A thorough knowledge of precalculus concepts will be assumed. The Honors version of this course is HONS 115 . Students may not receive credit for both.
Prerequisite(s): Placement or C- or better in MATH 111  
Course Frequency: Fall and Spring
