MUSC 368 Opera Practicum (1)

This course is a practicum course that is designed to provide students the opportunity to practice newly learned stage skills from the previous semester either in Music or Theatre. This experience is intended to deepen your understanding of performance methods and techniques, and the demands of the art form. The standards used for evaluation will consider the expectations placed on a professional musician/performer with a specific focus placed on musical preparation and attention to detail. There will also be the component of observing improvement in stage presence with an emphasis on performance.
Prerequisite(s): Permission of the instructor.
Course Frequency: Occasional
Repeatable: May be repeated for credit when course content varies.
