This course deals with the institution of property rights and how the absence of property rights may hinder the proper allocation of society’s scarce resources and thereby affect economic efficiency. The course also examines how resources held in the public domain are allocated and ways of how this allocation might be made more efficient. Prerequisite(s): Junior standing; ECON 200, ECON 201, MATH 105 or MATH 120 or permission of the instructor. Course Frequency: Occasional
