PSYC 445 Independent Study in Neuroscience (1-3)This course affords students the opportunity to obtain empirical skills and research experience in a supportive academic environment. Students will have the opportunity to read primary literature in the field of neuroscience, learn about neuroscientific skills and techniques used by researchers in the field, and learn about how the data collected in a study are analyzed and disseminated. Prerequisite(s): Permission of instructor, PSYC 103 , PSYC 214 , PSYC 211 and PSYC 220 (or PSYC 250 in lieu of PSYC 211 and PSYC 220 ) or BIOL 211 (or BIOL 213 ) Course Frequency: Occasional Repeatable: May be repeated for credit when course content varies.
