CHEM 350 Integrative Biochemistry (3)

A survey of the chemistry and metabolism of living systems. Topics include buffers and biological buffering, nucleic acids, protein structure and function, basics of enzymology, carbohydrates, lipids, introduction to metabolism, metabolic pathways, and transport across membranes. This course is intended for students who aren’t Chemistry or Biochemistry majors.
Prerequisite(s): CHEM 231  and CHEM 231L
