SOCY 260 Development of Social Thought (3)

An examination of classical, modern and/or postmodern approaches to social theory. Reviews the historical origins of social ideas about society and how these affect modern sociological thinking. This is a required foundation course for Sociology majors and minors completed during the first 18 hours.
Prerequisite(s): SOCY 101  or HONS 167  or SOCY 102 .
