CHLI 611 Working with Children with Special Needs/Developmental Disabilities (3) A comprehensive overview of common developmental and intellectual disabilities, the needs of children with disabilities, and the challenges faced in their interactions with the healthcare system. The role of the child life specialist in family-centered and community-based care at a systems and individual level will be explored. Prerequisite(s): Admission into the Child Life, M.S. program.
