Major Requirements


Credit Hours: 60+

In addition to completing the requirements for this major, students must also complete the degree requirements specified in the Academic Regulations  section of this catalog.

  • Honors students can take the alternative course of HONS 214  in lieu of DSCI 232 .
  • Honors students can take the alternative course of HONS 200  in lieu of ECON 200 .
  • Honors students can take the alternative course of HONS 211  in lieu of ECON 201 .

Elective Requirement


Complete 9 additional credit hours from any 300 or 400-level managment course

  • The School of Business strongly encourages students to complete the following courses by the end of their sophomore year: ACCT 203 ACCT 204 DSCI 232 ; INFM 220 ECON 200 ECON 201 MATH 104  or MATH 250 MATH 116  or MATH 120 . These courses are prerequisites for many upper level junior and senior business and economics courses.
  • The business and accounting programs offered by the School of Business are accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
  • Students are not permitted to double major in Management and Business Administration.
