Philosophy Minor

Minor Requirements

Credit Hours: 18+

In addition to completing the requirements for this minor, students must also complete the minor requirements specified in the Academic Regulations  section of this catalog.

Required Courses

18 credit hours in PHIL or DCSP 350 , including: 3 credit hours at the 300-level or above; 9 additional credit hours at the 200-level or above; 6 credit hours at the 100-level or above; at least one course from the “History of Philosophy Subfield” listed below:

• No more than 6 credit hours from PHIL 206  may be applied towards the program requirements.
• No more than 9 credit hours from PHIL 252  may be applied towards the program requirements.
• No more than 6 credit hours from PHIL 301  may be applied towards the program requirements.
• No more than 6 credit hours from PHIL 305  may be applied towards the program requirements.
• No more than 6 credit hours from PHIL 315  may be applied towards the program requirements.
• No more than 6 credit hours from PHIL 398  may be applied towards the program requirements.
• No more than 12 credit hours from PHIL 399  may be applied towards the program requirements.
• No more than 6 credit hours from PHIL 450  may be applied towards the program requirements.
