Political Science, B.A. to Public Administration, M.P.A. Accelerated Program

This program prepares students for careers in public service. Students will be well prepared for careers in local, state, and federal governments as well as nonprofit and private organizations. Up to 12 credit hours of eligible graduate-level coursework taken as an undergraduate can be counted towards both degrees.

Applications for admission to the program should be made by the end of the third (junior) year of study. Applicants must submit a letter of intent stating their reasons for applying to the program, areas of interest, and career objectives and complete an interview with the MPA program director.

Admission to the program requires a minimum 3.200 overall GPA.
