12 of which must be taken in courses at or above the 200-level, and at least 9 of these hours must be at or above the 300-level.***

*PHIL 240 Jewish Philosophy (3)  may not be taken for credit if credit has been received for JWST 240 .

**PHIL 255 Philosophy of Religion (3)  may not be taken for credit if credit has been received for RELS 255 .

***No more than six credit hours of PHIL 390 , PHIL 395 , PHIL 398 , PHIL 399 , or PHIL 499  may be taken to satisfy the minimum requirement of nine elective philosophy hours at or above the 300-level.

Politics, Philosophy, and Law Concentration (18 credit hours)


A concentration in Politics, Philosophy, and Law allows focused attention on theoretical issues related to the law. The concentration is jointly administered by the departments of Philosophy and Political Science.
