Management Accounting, Graduate Certificate Admission Requirements

Program Description
The Accountancy Graduate Certificate in Management Accounting will include 12 credit hours of coursework focused on (1) conducting research and acquiring knowledge in specific areas of management accounting that relates to their intended area of practice; and (2) learning how to use cost data in management planning, performance evaluation, and decision making.
The target audience will be individuals working or seeking employment in various function of private industry including manufacturing, supply chain, government, and non-profits.

Institutional Admissions Requirements
- A completed application form with a nonrefundable application fee of $60.
- Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate coursework. An earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
- International applicants should refer to the International Students area within the “Admissions Information” section of the catalog for information on providing appropriate documentation with the application.
Program Admissions Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree in accounting or a baccalaureate degree with sufficient coursework in accounting principles, intermediate accounting, cost accounting, taxation, accounting information systems, and auditing with a 3.000 GPA overall in accounting coursework.
- Completion of DSCI 304 or it’s equivalent at the undergraduate level.

- Fall: February 1, priority; July 1, final
- Spring: October 1, priority; December 1, final
- Summer: December 1, priority; April 1, final
