Notes:
- The School of Business strongly encourages students to complete the following courses by the end of their sophomore year: ACCT 203 , ACCT 204 ; DSCI 232 ; ECON 200 , ECON 201 ; MATH 104 or MATH 250 and MATH 105 or MATH 120 . These courses are pre-requisites for many upper level junior and senior business and economics courses.
- The business and accounting programs offered by the School of Business is accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
- MATH 120 and MATH 250 are STRONGLY recommended for students pursuing a major in finance. For students wishing to take upper-level investment courses (i.e. FINC 401 and FINC 402 ), MATH 120 is required.
- The School of Business recommends PHIL 175 (Business and Consumer Ethics) as one of the Humanities requirements.
- No more than 6 credit hours from any combination of FINC 399 , FINC 420 , FINC 444 , and FINC 499 will count toward the major.
- Students are not permitted to double major in Business Administration and Finance.
