BIOL 451 Problems in Marine Biology (1-4)Literature and laboratory investigations of specific problems directly concerned with the biology of marine organisms. Open to exceptional students with junior or senior standing who are interested in continuing toward a graduate degree in biological or related sciences and who have a minimum GPA of 3.000 in all science courses. Credit value is determined by the type of problem addressed. Prerequisite(s): Permission of the instructor and approval of the department chair, BIOL 111 , BIOL 111L , BIOL 112 , BIOL 112L , BIOL 211 (or BIOL 213 ), and BIOL 305 Prerequisite(s) or Corequisite(s): MATH 250 or equivalent course in statistics. Course Frequency: Occasional Repeatable: May be repeated for credit when course content varies.
