PHYS 396 Biophysical Modeling of Excitable Cells (3)An introduction to the concepts and methods of computer modeling of excitable cells. Topics include basic electrophysiology of excitable cells, biophysics of ion conduction, mathematical modeling of activation/inactivation mechanisms using experimental data, and computer simulations.
