HONS 102 Exploring Ideas in Community (1)Using a thematic approach (e.g, Sustainability, Women in Leadership, Medical Humanities), students will explore the work of community-based initiatives or professional organizations through readings, guest lectures, event attendance, and small group discussion. Students will work together as a cohort with the guidance of a faculty mentor to analyze the relevance and application of the theme in their own academic and professional endeavors. Prerequisite(s): Honors College Student and permission of the instructor. Course Frequency: Occasional Repeatable: May be repeated for credit when course content varies.
