HPCP 199 Introduction to Historic Preservation (3)An introduction to the history and contemporary practice of historic preservation in the U.S. The course includes a survey of the content and context of the heritage to be preserved and examines current preservation practice in preserving buildings, landscapes and material culture. Issues related to archeology, architectural history, social history and community planning will be covered. Course Frequency: Fall and Spring
