EDEE 510 Educational Theory, Behavior, and Development of the Young Child: Field Experience I (3) An introduction to early childhood education including 1) historical and philosophical antecedents, 2) developmentally appropriate practice, 3) field-based experiences and 4) characteristics of young children and related program implications. The course includes a 36-hour practicum in a variety of settings to ensure multicultural exposure. Course Frequency: Fall Note: Note: Practicum required.
