FINC 385 Individual Risk Management and Insurance (3)This course creates an awareness of individual risk and the importance of insurance and related products as risk management techniques. Course content focuses primarily on life and health insurance, with a lesser focus on retirement and estate planning. Students develop an understanding of the basic characteristics of risk management tools and strategies, as well as practical competencies in application.
