GEOL 303 Independent Study in Geology (1-3)An independent research project in which a student works on a research topic under the supervision of a faculty member. The faculty member will help to design and supervise the project. A project proposal will be drafted and approved by both the faculty member and the student researcher and approved by the department chairman. Prerequisite(s): Junior rank or higher or departmental approval. Course Frequency: Fall and Spring Repeatable: May be repeated for credit when course content varies.
