ENGR 380 Vehicle Electrical and Electronic Design (3)

The course describes electrical and electronics designs used in state-of the-art ground, air and underwater vehicles. Vehicles covered will include those used for personal, commercial or military applications. Systems covered include automobiles, drones and submarines. The course will cover concepts related to onboard monitoring electronics, cruise control concepts, and DC power distribution. The course will conclude with a discussion on automotive regenerative braking, sonar, and sensing and control technologies used for autonomous navigation.
