GEOL 441 Pollution in the Environment (4)Course focuses on theoretical and quantitative skills required to assess how natural and anthropogenic factors influence pollutant behavior in Earth’s near-surface environments, including fresh water and soils. Laboratory focuses on assessing pollutants in various environmental media using appropriate environmental techniques. Lecture three hours per week; laboratory three hours per week.
