WGST 328 Directed Undergraduate Research (1-4)This course is designed to provide you with the guidance and tools to conduct original research “in the field” on a topic of your choice. This course provides students with research practicum experience. Students will engage in all aspects of a qualitative research project to investigate the assigned topic. Specifically, students will engage in research design, data collection, data analysis and writing of results. Students will also engage in contextual readings about the topic, research methods, and concerns related to research ethics. This course will utilize a mixture of lecture, discussion, and hands-on learning. Prerequisite(s): Junior rank or higher, WGST 200 Course Frequency: Fall and Spring Repeatable: May be repeated for credit when course content varies.
