HIST 117 MUGC Pre-Modern History (3)This course will impart a knowledge of the history of selected human civilizations, societies, and cultures, with a special focus on issues pertaining to concepts of identity, multicultural understanding, social hierarchy, and inequality. It will cover substantial historical developments, contexts and periods during the pre-modern period using a thematic approach. The Honors version of this course is HONS 117 . Students may not receive credit for both. Course Frequency: Fall and Spring
