HONS 117 Honors MUGC Pre-Modern History (3)

This course will impart a knowledge of the history of selected human civilizations, societies, and cultures, with a special focus on issues pertaining to concepts of identity, multicultural understanding, social hierarchy, and inequality. It will cover substantial historical developments, contexts, and periods during the pre-modern period using a thematic approach. This is the Honors version of HIST 117. Students may not receive credit for both.
