HIST 118 MUGC Modern History (3)

This course will impart a knowledge of the history of selected human civilizations, societies, and cultures, with a special focus on issues pertaining to concepts of identity, multicultural understanding, social hierarchy and inequality, and global citizenship. It will cover substantial historical developments, contexts, and periods during the modern period using a thematic approach. The Honors version of this course is HONS 118. Students may not receive credit for both.
