HONS 118 Honors MUGC Modern History (3)

This course will impart a knowledge of the history of selected human civilizations, societies, and cultures, with a special focus on issues pertaining to concepts of identity, multicultural understanding, social hierarchy and inequality, and global citizenship. It will cover substantial historical developments, contexts and periods during the modern period using a thematic approach. This is the Honors version of HIST 118. Students may not receive credit for both.
