Pre-Actuarial Studies Minor

Minor Requirements

Credit Hours: 21+

In addition to completing the requirements for this minor, students must also complete the minor requirements specified in the Academic Regulations section of this catalog.

Pre-Actuarial Studies Minor: 21 credit hours

For students majoring in mathematics (other than the Actuarial Studies Track):

Note:

Three or four of the mathematics courses in this minor can be used to satisfy specific or elective course requirements in the various tracks (other than actuarial studies) in the mathematics major.

Pre-Actuarial Studies Minor: 24 credit hours

For students majoring in business administration:

Notes:

No more than 12 credit hours from MATH 399 may be applied towards the program requirements.
No more than 6 credit hours from MATH 417 may be applied towards the program requirements.
No more than 3 credit hours from MATH 418 may be applied towards the program requirements.
No more than 12 credit hours from MATH 480 may be applied towards the program requirements.
No more than 12 credit hours from MATH 485 may be applied towards the program requirements.
