The interdisciplinary environmental and sustainability studies minor provides students with opportunities to learn more about the natural environment, the ecology of the planet, and sustainability, while understanding the impact of political, social, cultural, and economic activities on the environment.

I. Natural Sciences and Mathematics Environmental Courses
Three or more courses (at least nine credit hours) plus prerequisites selected from: Note:
Special topics courses offered by departments may be approved on a course-by-course basis.
Only one course in the student’s major department may be applied to the minor. Only one mathematics course may be chosen. II. Social Sciences and Humanities Environmental Courses

Only one course in the student’s major department may be applied to the minor. III. Interdisciplinary Environmental Courses

Notes:
- No more than 12 credit hours from ENVT 350 may be applied towards the program requirements.
- No more than 3 credit hours from ENVT 355 may be applied towards the program requirements.
