Level 3: 6 to 12 credit hours from the following:

Notes:
- *Course may be repeated twice under different topics if 3 credit hours each for a total of 6 credit hours. PORT 333 , PORT 390 , and PORT 498 will always count as 3 credit hours, but PORT 330 could count as 1 credit hour if coming from another department.
- Certain approved special topic courses from other departments may also count toward the minor provided at least 1/3 of the content focuses on Brazil. These courses will vary on a semester basis and will need approval from the Hispanics Studies Department Chair.
- No more than 6 credit hours from LTPO 250 may be applied towards the program requirements.
