Required Courses

- Honors students can take the alternative course of HONS 165 in lieu of POLI 101 .

A concentration in Politics, Philosophy, and Law allows focused attention on theoretical issues related to the law. The concentration is jointly administered by the departments of Philosophy and Political Science. Complete an additional two courses from the following:

Additional courses on suitable topics may be approved for credit by the director. Since POLI 320 or POLI 321 is required, PHIL majors will take at least one course in POLI. POLI majors must also take at least one course in PHIL. Notes:
- At least 15 credit hours at the 300-level or above is required of this major.
- No more than 6 credit hours from POLI 119 may be applied towards the program requirements.
- No more than 6 credit hours from POLI 261 may be applied towards the program requirements.
- No more than 6 credit hours from POLI 261 , POLI 267 , and POLI 268 may be applied towards the program requirements.

- No more than 6 credit hours from POLI 401 may be applied towards the program requirements.
