Coaching Minor

Minor Requirements

Credit Hours: 19

In addition to completing the requirements for this minor, students must also complete the minor requirements specified in the Academic Regulations  section of this catalog.

The minor must include 10 credit hours from the following:

• PEHD 222 Analysis and Conduct of Lifetime Activities (3)
• PEHD 222L Skill Development in Lifetime Activities (1)

• OR

• PEHD 223 Analysis and Conduct of Team Sports (3)
• PEHD 223L Skill Development in Team Sports (1)

• EXSC 235 Motor Skill Behavior (3)
• PEHD 342 Techniques and Strategies of Coaching (3)

An additional 9 credit hours must be chosen from the following:

• EXSC 210 Cardiovascular Assessment and Exercise Prescription (3)
