Communication Minor

Minor Requirements

Credit Hours: 18

In addition to completing the requirements for this minor, students must also complete the minor requirements specified in the Academic Regulations  section of this catalog.

Required Courses

Students in the communication minor must complete a minimum of six credit hours in 300-or 400-level communication courses. Topics vary in course sections for COMM 310, COMM 315, COMM 336 and COMM 410. Please see the semester course schedule or the department website for course topics in a specific semester.

Notes:

• No more than 9 credit hours from COMM 310  may be applied toward the program requirements.
• No more than 9 credit hours from COMM 315  may be applied toward the program requirements.
• No more than 9 credit hours from COMM 336  may be applied toward the program requirements.
• No more than 9 credit hours from COMM 380  may be applied toward the program requirements.
• No more than 6 credit hours from COMM 405  may be applied toward the program requirements.
• No more than 12 credit hours from COMM 410  may be applied toward the program requirements.
• No more than 6 credit hours from COMM 495  may be applied toward the program requirements.
