Required Courses

Base Experience

PHYS 105 Introduction to Meteorology (3)
OR Three of the following courses:
GEOL 438 Hydrogeology (4)
PHYS 405 Thermal Physics (3)
PHYS 415 Fluid Mechanics (3)
PHYS 459 Cloud and Precipitation Physics (3)

Note:

Students may replace with any three of the four senior-level courses (, , , ). Replacing the introductory course with three senior-level courses may be desirable for students pursuing the Operational Meteorology Concentration. Also, if the three upper level courses are used to satisfy the base experience, two will also count as electives.

Emphasis Experience

Complete 3 credit hours from the following:
