Global Logistics and Transportation Minor


Minor Requirements


Credit Hours: 18

In addition to completing the requirements for this minor, students must also complete the minor requirements specified in the Academic Regulations  section of this catalog.

Non-credit professional training class requirement for the GLAT minor.


The Global Logistics and Transportation Professional Training Class provides an overview of transportation, logistics, and supply chain activities as they exist in Charleston.  All sessions are presented by guest speakers working in the areas they are discussing.  The class meets every Monday evening from 7-9 PM in the School of Business for Fall and Spring semesters of the student’s Junior year.  Students must pass four examinations to satisfy this Minor requirement.

Notes:


  • Students should meet with the program director no later than the Spring semester of their sophomore year for additional information.
  • No more than 6 credit hours from SCIM 360  may be applied toward the program requirements.
  • No more than 6 credit hours from SCIM 420  may be applied toward the program requirements.
  • No more than 3 credit hours from SCIM 444  may be applied toward the program requirements.
  • No more than 12 credit hours from TRAN 399  may be applied toward the program requirements.
