Major Requirements

Honors students can take the alternative course of HONS 115 in lieu of MATH 120.
Honors students can take the alternative course of HONS 215 in lieu of MATH 220.

Capstone Requirement

Complete one of the following capstone experiences:

4 credit hour course pairing with computing/programming content

Complete one of the following course pairs:

3 credit hours of foundational proof based course work

Complete one of the following:

Complete 6 additional credit hours selected from the following list with no more than 3 credit hours at the 200 level.

OPTION A: Mathematics Option or OPTION B: Mathematics/Inter-disciplinary Option

Option A: Mathematics Option

The Mathematics Option A requires 6 additional credit hours selected from the following list with no more than 3 credit hours from MATH 423 , MATH 430 , and MATH 470 :

Option B: Mathematics/Interdisciplinary Option Part 1

The Mathematics/Interdisciplinary Option Part 1, requires 6 additional credit hours selected from the following list:

No more than 12 credit hours from MATH 399 may be applied towards the program requirements.
No more than 6 credit hours from MATH 417 may be applied towards the program requirements.
No more than 3 credit hours from MATH 418 may be applied towards the program requirements.
No more than 12 credit hours from MATH 480 may be applied towards the program requirements.
No more than 12 credit hours from MATH 485 may be applied towards the program requirements.
